Our Roots

Born In Oaxaca

LOS AMANTES mezcal is distilled by hand, made 100% of agave espadin, emerged in the region of Tlacolula, in the state of Oaxaca.

The maguey is traditionally baked in stone ovens, and then it is grinded in an Egyptian type mill made of stones moved by horses, fermented in wooden tubs in a natural way and distilled in copper and steel stills that are designed exclusively for our mezcals. Finally the mezcals are matured, in the case of the reposados (rested) and añejos (aged) in French and / or American oak barrels.

All this gives mezcal LOS AMANTES exceptional organoleptic characteristics that make it unique and unmistakable.
